Buffy the Vampire Slayer!

So I found that I really like the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and when I found out that there are books based off of the TV show, I had to read them. There are three stories in every book written by a different author. I have read the first and second one, and am hoping to read the third one soon. So for those of you that haven't had the pleasure to read the books or watch the TV show, here's what it's about. Every generation, there is a chosen one who will fight against vampires, demons, and other dark forces. Buffy is the chosen one, she lives in Sunnydale which is the opening of the hellmouth where all the dark forces and vampires, etc. are drawn to. the stories in the first book are Coyote Moon by John Vornholt, Night of the Living Rerun by Arthur Byron Cover, and Portal Through Time by Alice Henderson. I enjoyed reading these stories and they were a lot like the show. In the second book the stories are Halloween Rain by Christopher Golden and Nancy Holder, Bad Bargain by Diana G. Gallagher, and Afterimage by Pierce AskegrenI enjoyed all of these stories and would recommend them to anyone who enjoys vampire books with a lot of action in them.

Maximum Ride!!!

I've just recently finished reading the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. Maximum Ride and her gang are special, they're only 98% human. The other 2% is avian (birds) which means they have wings. The whole series is about them trying to survive and going through troubles together. I enjoyed the series, some books more than others. The series just ended in August :-( and ended in a shocking way. I love who Max ended up with in the end, but I'm not sure if I like how the book ended itself. It's a great book and a great series, and I would recommend this book tho anyone who likes sci-fi or adventure books.

Artemis Fowl and the Last Guardian!!!

I love all of the Artemis Fowl books and The Last Guardian is no exception. It's the last book in the Artemis Fowl series (by Eoin Colfer) and I was sad to see the series end. Artemis Fowl got done with his counseling with someone when Opal Koboi is kidnapped and people are threatening to shoot her. Holly, Artemis, Butler, and Foaly have to figure out what's going on and why Opal Koboi got kidnapped and how to stop it. All of that is happening while Juliet and the Fowl twins (Miles and Beckett) are playing, when there's a crash and fairy spirits rise from their graves and into the first living thing they can find. I didn't like how the books ended, but it's a twist that was really interesting. If you want to find out how the book ends, you're going to have to read it!
