Hunger Games is coming to theaters March 23rd!! Who isn't about that? For those of you who haven't read the book, you should! They are really good books, and no, they are not about an eating contest. It's a survival book, that takes place in future North America. There are 12 districts and a capitol, every year to show the districts that the capitol is in charge, they pick 2 contestants from each district (a boy and a girl) to fight until there is only one survivor. District 12 is the coal mining district. From District 12, 16 yr. old Katniss Everdeen's little sister Primrose is picked. Katniss would do anything for Prim so she volunteers to be a tribute. Her and Peeta Mellark are the 2 representatives for District 12 to fight until death (or until there is only one of them left.) Hunger Games (by Suzanne Collins) is an amazing book you should read. It is part of a trilogy; the 3 books are Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay. Read the book before you see the movie, because the book is always better.

Liked the first two hated the last, in my opinion the story dropped and her writing was not all that well, but I commend her on her creativeness
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you, the first two were good, but the last wasn't as good as the other two. It seemed like everything happened so fast, if you ask me. She is really creative though.
